Summer Program

About the Program

During The summer program LI Ballet Academy offering classes:
Ballet,technique,pointe,variations,character,historical,acting ,jazz,turns and stretch.
Serious ballet students ages nine years and older are invited to audition for the summer intensive.
Admission is by audition only.

  ***All Dancers (New & Returning) are REQUIRED to AUDITION for the
         Summer Programs to be considered for Placement and Acceptance.

Acceptance to Summer Program is by audition only and is by the decision of the Artistic Staff of The LI Ballet Academy & Dance .
Applicants must be eight years old or older by June of current year  and must have a minimum of one - two years training in classical ballet. 
All students attending an audition must bring a head shot and a $ 25.00 Audition Fee.(Cash only,please) 

Applicants may also audition by video. Video  auditions should be on DVD and must be labeled with the applicant's name,mailing address,phone number,age and years of training. Audition video should be at least 10 minutes and include barre,center work,petite and grande allegro,and pirouettes. Please send all audition  videos,along with a $30.00 Video Application Fee,to:

May 29th  - 2nd Payment Due (Final Payment) 

Students may choose to attend 2, or 4 weeks (Junior Program) .Students who wish to participate in the Final Demonstration must attend at least the last two weeks of the intensive.Each regular class day will consist of a minimum of three-four  classes (depending upon placement), supplemented by enrichment classes as scheduled. During Week Five (Junior Program)  portions of regular classes may be used in preparation for the final demonstration. 



If a student must withdraw due to severe illness or injury that occurs WHILE ATTENDING the Summer Intensive, they are eligible for a PARTIAL REFUND ONLY if a doctor recommends withdrawal from the program.

Students withdrawing for other reasons are not eligible for a Partial tuition refunds will be determined on a case-by-case basis by LI Ballet Academy & Dance’s finance committee at the end of the summer.

Refunds requested after April 26, 2019 will be reviewed at the end of the summer and will not be finalized until September 2019.All refunds requests must be received no later than 30 days after the student withdrawal date to be considered.
